Over a Quarter-Century of Global Leadership

• The Company’s story began in 1996 with the founding of the company by Engineer Mostafa Nasser, initially aiming to supply the market with state-of-the-art survey equipment and deliver specialized services. A significant expansion occurred in 1999 when the Company entered the Marine Surveying field by supplying specialized equipment, such as Sub-bottom Profilers, to Oil Field Services (OFS) companies. By 2000, Zone Engineering significantly expanded its scope by securing exclusive agencies for highly reputable international firms specializing in marine survey and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) equipment.
• By 2007, Zone Offshore was established as a separate entity to segregate equipment provision and sales from pure surveying services. During this pivotal period, the Company successfully secured agencies for prestigious names like Saab Seaeye, Sonardyne, Norbit, EIVA, Hemisphere GNSS, Terus GNSS, OceanScan, cementing its leadership in the subsea domain.
• Subsequently, the responsibility for equipment agencies and subsea-related activities was officially transferred to Zone Offshore Free Zone. This transformation established ZONE OFFSHORE as a leading regional force, where it became the only inland company in Egypt providing marine equipment rental and software supply. Our strategic facility in the Suez Free Zone acts as a comprehensive regional hub for business support, offering equipment storage, integration, and testing, mobilization/demobilization services, ROV/AUV maintenance, and client training.
• ZONE OFFSHORE proudly stands as a trusted partner and exclusive distributor for major global manufacturers, including Saab Seaeye (ROV systems), Sonardyne (acoustic positioning), Norbit (multibeam sonar), EIVA (survey software), Hemisphere GNSS (positioning solutions), Terus GNSS, OceanScan, and other hydrographic and oceanographic devices. Furthermore, Zone Offshore actively supports Vessel & ROV Brokerage operations, connecting clients with suitable vessels and survey equipment for short- or long-term charter. In 2012, the establishment of Zone Survey and Mapping marked another key development, becoming the Company leading for Geospatial Engineering.

Aster Zone Contracting was established to serve as the specialized arm for integrated contracting and civil marine works within the operational structure.
The company leverages the specialized technical and surveying capabilities of Zone Survey and Mapping and the comprehensive supply network of Zone Offshore to offer end-to-end solutions.

Aster Zone Contracting specializes in complex construction and marine works projects, focusing on providing high-quality, reliable, and integrated services.
The company is strategically positioned to handle civil projects, coastal defense works, and marine installations, where precision and efficiency are paramount.
By integrating advanced geospatial data and technology directly into its construction methodologies, the company ensures optimal project execution, safety,
and adherence to timelines across its operational regions.

Aster Zone For Oil & Gas Services (UAE) was established to strategically focus
the extensive marine and technical expertise on the high-demand Oil & Gas sector
within the Arabian Gulf.

The company provides comprehensive, integrated services tailored to the specialized
needs of the energy industry, including the operation and maintenance of offshore
facilities, supply chain logistics, and specialized vessel support. It utilizes the
technological base to provide advanced services such as specialized measurement works
and environmental compliance, including the transportation of waste oil from vessels.

Aster Zone For Oil & Gas Services (UAE) acts as a crucial operational node,
ensuring that quality and safety standards are deployed efficiently across its
Gulf projects.

Jawaby Oil Services (Libya) was established as the dedicated operational entity to provide essential oil and marine support services within Libya, specifically operating from the Misrata Free Zone.

The company is strategically focused on delivering localized, reliable, and swift support services essential for the continuity of oil and gas operations and maritime projects in the region.
